Coulmore Bay Caravan Park

About Us

We are a small family run caravan park. The park is situated on  Coulmore Farm which is an established organic farm, a few miles from the village of North Kessock. We open the caravan site for the summer season, from 1st April to 31st October, for holiday static caravanning only. The location is really quiet with incredible views over the Beauly firth and Inverness, over the Kessock bridge.

Situated in the heart of the Highlands, there is plenty to do nearby and to discover. We can always give you advices about the area and you are welcome to give us your recommendations as well if you think we are missing out on something.

Dog Friendly

We love dogs, which is why we want to allow you to let your pet enjoy a holiday with you ! You will find below the few rules to follow when bringing your pet along.

One dog is permitted per caravan. If you have more than one dog or another type of pet please contact us before booking for prior approval.

All pets must be house trained. They are not allowed on furniture or beds, and they must not be left unaccompanied in the property at any time.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times when not in caravans.

Fouling must always be picked up immediately on site and along the shore road and put in a bin.

Barking will not be tolerated, as we want the site to be relaxing for every guest.

We do not charge for your pet as we expect you to clean up after them. A charge will be taken from your deposit for any additional cleaning required. You shall be liable for all damage caused by your pet or any pet belonging to your party. We cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury to a pet during their stay.

The Environment

We whole heartedly believe that we need to take care of our environment and our site. The site is set in a unique location along the Beauly Firth and on the Black Isle. We want people to be able to come enjoy the nature and wildlife of our home in their holiday. The site is a part of the Coulmore farm which has been an organic farm since the 1970s and therefore harvests a wide variety of local wildlife, from insects to birds and roe deer or otters.

We provide instructions for the recycling and big bins at the entry of our site. We expect our guests not to drop litter in nature, which will very easily end up in the sea.

For our rental accommodations, we thoroughly clean sponges and cloths in between stays so they can be reused. We also refill the cleaning sprays and soap liquids. We keep trying to bring in new ways to be waste free.

Farm fields and caravan park

The caravans

We have around a hundred caravans on site, among which 6 are situated on a separate area of the caravan site, directly on the firth shore. The Caravan park is along a shore road, but it remains very quiet as people mostly use the A9 to cross the Black Isle.

We would like our caravaners to feel like they can make their caravan a home away from home for the perfect stress free holiday.

We also have a couple caravans available for hire which come fully equipped with everything you would need for relaxing holiday.

The facilities

You will find on the park a handy laundrette as well as a games room with ping pong table and other games.

There is a picnic area with a big play park just on the shore of the firth to enjoy the location.

At the entrance of the caravan park you will find bins with recycling for both glass and plastic and cardboards. We encourage recycling by providing you with a detailed list of recyclable items. If you have questions about how to recycle please feel free to contact us.
